Further details of the other permanent Mobile services below:

Ten Scottish communities in the Inverness and Highland region are benefitting from a new Mobile Post Office operated by the Postmistress for Dingwall, Alicen Lawrie. This service was started six months ago, and it has restored Post Office services to the communities of Evanton, Ardross, Rosehall, Munlochy, Dochgarroch, Dores and Farr. Additionally, this Mobile service provides a temporary service to the local communities of Dalneigh, Hilton and Conon Bridge while we continue to seek a permanent solution. Due to technical reasons we were unable to provide a Mobile service at Glenmoriston as originally planned. We have now reviewed the service and from the week commencing 10 May we are introducing new operating times for Dochgarroch, Dalneigh, Dores, Hilton, Munlochy, Rosehall and Evanton. See notes to editors for full details.

There will also be a change of locations for Dores and Hilton as the Postmistress believes that these new locations will better serve these communities.

The Dores stop is now - beside Ness Gifts, Lochness, Dores, IV2 6TS. The Hilton stop is now Tomatin Road, Inverness, IV2 4UA close to The Three Little Bakers/Anchor Café.

We thank the Postmaster for Dingwall for operating these Mobile Post Offices as we know how important a Post Office is to a community. The six-month review has allowed us to make adjustments to the route, days and times that communities are visited.”
