Evanton can boast a true Craftsman in the shape of Dave Sanderson and his ‘Into the Grain’ wood carving business. His ability to turn a plank of wood into a work of art has kept him busy for some years. At any time he can be found busy preparing his creations for his next appearance at a Craft Fair somewhere distant or maybe working on a single piece of wizardry in wood for someone more local. His repertoire includes Celtic and Viking themes as well as the more usual commissioned items for a local business or two. Some of his work can be seen locally at the entrance to the Evanton Wood and the sign outside the Novar Arms that promotes the Hotel splendidly. There is not the space here to show all of his talent but he would more than welcome your enquiries about the wide range of his work for a quotation.
