"We have reintroduced peak time journeys between Evanton and Dingwall. A service will depart Evanton at 07:50 Monday-Friday, arriving in Dingwall at 08:05. Return journeys from Dingwall to Evanton will operate at 16:07, 17:05 and 19:45. The journeys will operate all year round, during school term and school holidays."

Larisa and Annelie have worked very hard and secured the return of the early bus from Tain to Dingwall through Evanton.  The new service times are subject to a trial run of twelve months beginning on the 7th January 2019.  This will be an early morning No.25 bus leaving Evanton at 7.50am and arriving at Dingwall Royal Hotel at 8.05 am and additional buses that return from Dingwall at 16.07 arriving at Evanton at 16.22.  It will be conditional to the amount of use it receives and other important detailed changes and monitoring requirements.  It also states that although Children can use this service bus it has been allocated for 'Public' use and pricing for children are 1/2 fares for under 16 years and 2/3 fares for 16-18 years.
Also a new No.25U bus leaves Tain at 6.12am and arrives in Evanton at 7.50am, taking in all stops in Invergordon and Alness, this is to link with the No.25 bus at 7.50 from Evanton to Dingwall. The No.25U bus will go on directly to Duncaston Crossroads and NOT Dingwall, so travellers to Dingwall should change at Evanton.
The full details can be read by clicking on the links available as a pdf file (Page 6 of the Timetable in particular), or the “Stagecoach” online link direct.
Larisa and Annelie have also issued the results of both the ‘door to door’ and ‘online’ Surveys and these also can also be viewed by the 3 additional links.
The ‘Reinstate the Early Bus Campaign’ will continue to support and campaign for Evanton and surrounding towns in the fight to re-establish the bus schedules, not just for school children but for everyone who has felt the effects from its cancellation. The contact link remains open and any further thoughts or comments will be welcome for some time to come to the email address –           reinstate.earlybus@hotmail.com
Larisa and Annelie would like to say thank you to all who helped them along the way and that without your contributions to the campaign it would not have happened.
