Excellent performance wins the rocks the 1st trophy of the season! Goals from; Liam Hutchinson   Ryan Patterson   Michael Rae

After a lapse of about 8 years the BlackRock Rovers Football Club is again alive and kicking.  They are all very dedicated and energetic bringing a much needed breath of fresh air to the Evanton Recreation Park in the Village.   With the full new team and management assembling at the BlackRock Park on a regular basis and calling it ‘Home’, they are playing a big part in the 'Inverness & District Football Association' and have taken an early lead at the top of their division. 

Their first ‘home’ league game at the Park on April 17th resulted in a 5 – 1 win over Tomatin.  Evan Murray and Robert MacCormack are at the controls and with the team and their followers, together with the support and encouragement of the Evanton Social & Events Group, have accepted the challenges of fundraising and refurbishment of the Pavilion and grounds.  Their strip has been sponsored by ’Ventures Ltd’ and all have worked hard to establish the new club from its very beginning.   By June 1st they had well established themselves at the top of the 2nd Div  and collected the 'I D F A Cup Final Trophy'.   We congratulate them and wish them all a great and winning future.
